After looking into the newly released Deus Ex: Human Revolution, I am interested to say the least. However, it has also peaked my interest in the original Deus Ex. Since it is only $10 on Steam, would you recommend getting that game before playing Human revolution? (I'm definitely getting HR eventually no matter what, it's just a matter of when.)Deus Ex or Human Revolution?
Human Revolution captured the Deus Ex experience greatly, and it has less engine restrictions and clunkiness than the first one. I think it's a better game to get into the franchise. The story doesn't have much to do with each other (just set in the same timeline), so you are safe from spoilers. The only major drawback that HR have over the original is probably the lack of horrible voice acting xD Get HR first =]Deus Ex or Human Revolution?
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is extreme! The system is very easy to understand, with meaningful options, and you will end up with a character that supports your game play style after only a few missions worth of xp. The Hacking is a neat little sub game that you can easily master and it is so well integrated that you will find yourself looking for things to hack around every turn.Deus Ex or Human Revolution?
